Foundation Chain:This shawl is done from the point up, which is really my favorite method. I have a bad habit of not buying enough yarn; using this method, if I run out and can't get more of the same color, I can always just stop crocheting and turn it into a capelet.
The pattern is very similar to the one I used for my wedding shawl. I think that the wedding shawl turned out beautifully, but I wasn't entirely happy with the design. This is take 2, with baby yarn, larger hook and pattern changes.
