2005 Projects
Mardi GrasA good friend with a strange obsession with Mardi Gras inspired this...thing. I'm not sure exactly what to call it. It kinda looks like a fuzzy lei. It's a combination of a mobeius scarf and a spiral scarf. I figured that people in northern climates need a bit of Mardi Gras color, but might want a bit of warmth combined with it.

Legwarmers
Well, I finished my legwarmers. I thought I'd put up pictures; details to come later--I'm too miserable tonight. Here they are pre-assembly (Please ignore the pasty white legs; I cropped the picture weird, they really only come to just past my knee cap):

Julie's Scarf
My latest (finished) crochet project was a Christmas present for a friend. I really like the way it turned out; it has an interesting texture, and the wool makes it warm and cuddly. The stitch pattern I used was very simple, but effective. Just 2 dc, *bpdc, dc, repeat from *11 more times, then 2 dc.
Snowflake Scarf
This is a cute skinny fashion scarf or kids scarf. I got the stitch idea from some old crochet magazine, revised it for yarn and figured out how to do a strip lengthwise. It was a fun little challenge.
